Aaron and his housemate have two cute kittens joining the family. Carmen (the grey striped) and Sancho (golden) are brother and sister. Sancho is more out going and was approaching Ori (golden retriever) last night, but Carmen has been more friendly with Aaron so far. The cute brunette is Samantha (Sam), Aaron's new friend and live in aide. That is what is going on at 1244 Garfield Ave. this week!
I remember... I'm gonna knock you into the middle of next week. But I also remember always asking grandpa can I have more bananna pudding.I remember always trying to crack an egg by myself but when it was done granpa got mad at me for adding a little crunch.

Lauren had her birthday on Sunday. We can't believe she's 8! We've had a crazy life for the last few months and I was the bad Mom that forgot to order her present on time! Well, she was happy with a new shirt and cash. She's been checking out AmericanGirl.com and i'm sure she will pick something perfect.
Allie telling what the"Walk" and raising money for research means to her.
We are the Champions!!
Our team the "A Team" brought in the most money for the Denver Stride and Ride of any team there. We won big... all the money we raised will go for Friedreich's ataxia research!
Childhood memory: Do you remember getting a heart shaped box of chocolates on the doorstep on Valentine's evening around dinner time? Dad was so cute, as he rang the doorbell and sneaked back in another door to watch us find a "valentine surprise" on the front door step. I can still see his big smile and dimples as he claimed, he didn't know where they came from!
Notice how I dressed Aaron when he was little. Conservative colors, classic style... handsome little guy isn't he? Now notice how he dresses as an adult, wild colors and patterns. I'm glad that I didn't stifle his flair for dressing!!
Our darling little Lauren is 1/2 way through 2nd grade! I can't believe it. She will be 8 in February. Here is a slide show and some music from her Holiday Concert at school. The last song makes me want to cry every time I hear the sweet little voices. She did such a great job learning her songs thanks to her great music teacher Mr Beck. He is amazing and brings out the best in the kids.
Mike assisted Aaron so he could create these art pieces for Christmas Gifts. Mike works in the studio that does metal work, and our dear friend Sharon kindly allowed them space to create! What a gift of "presence"!
Sue and Gwen at her house for Christmas on the Lake. That was a fun time, and I remember that Gwen made Huckleberry Jam for me to take home. Love in a jelly jar!
It has been two years since Dad passed away. I am remembering how happy he always seemed to see his kids when he came home from work at night. He was a fun Daddy-O.
Vinton and Ann at Aaron's house. This is one of the rare days that Aaron isn't wearing a tie-die shirt.
Thank you Ann and Vinton for driving up from Denver and spending an evening with us! EVERYBODY, there is an open invitation for good company and dinner for anyone in our family who finds themselves in driving distance of Loveland.
